At the heart of A&A Athletic Consulting and Vigilance Safety Training Center lies a commitment to empowering student-athletes and their families through comprehensive support services, organizational risk assessment and health, and safety planning.  

Our mission is to nurture growth and ensure the well-being of individuals through diligent care and strategic guidance.

Provide education, foster involvement, and enable individuals, businesses, and organizations with the skills to forecast, prepare, avert, and manage routine occurrences and unexpected crises.

WHAT WE DO

A&A Athletic Consulting, LLC was founded with a mission to guide and support families and student-athletes on their journey through the college admissions and recruiting process while also aiding institutions in implementing effective frameworks that prioritize the holistic well-being of student-athletes.

 

At the heart of A&A stands the Vigilance Safety Training Center, an educational hub endorsed by ECSI. This center proudly holds certifications in Sports & Entertainment Venue Staff, serving as a Testing Assessment Center for NOCTI. Through its offerings of Microcredentials, Job Readiness, Employability Skills, and pathways to college-to-career readiness, it equips individuals with essential tools for success.

 

Dedicated to enhancing safety and security across various sectors, the Safety Training Center extends its services to schools, universities, sports entities, and community organizations. By providing tailored support in health and safety planning, staff development, risk management strategies, and meticulous review of operational policies and procedures for events and facilities, it champions a culture of preparedness and excellence.

CV of Ceo

Alva brings a wealth of experience spanning 26 years in management and program development. With over 25 years dedicated to the health industry, she has held roles as a health educator, emergency medical technician, and community health consultant focused on delivering emergency response training, chronic disease education, and direct services in adolescent drug treatment and case management. Additionally, Alva has devoted more than 20 years to the sports sector, serving as a coach, basketball official, event staff member, and athletic administrator for 15 years.


In her capacity as the Sports Director for PVAAU, Alva has significantly impacted children and families in the community through her DCPG Sports organization. This initiative aims to impart fundamental skills in emerging sports and less commonly accessible sports within urban areas. DCPG is dedicated to promoting inclusivity in sports participation by ensuring that all children, regardless of their socioeconomic background, have equal opportunities to engage in sports development and play.
